I am a tertiary qualified Naturopath with a Bachelor of Health Science Naturopathy, and a registered member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). I am also a committee member of NHAA's Victorian chapter, Vic Herbs, and Common Healing Ground; a not for profit community health organisation currently partnered with the Fitzroy All Stars Indigenous Sports Club. I am a lifelong vegetarian, mother to 2 cheeky teenagers and wife to a gorgeous practicing Rheumatologist.
My passion is the use of herbal medicine and food as medicine to achieve affordable and sustainably optimal health outcomes. As a clinician, I thoroughly enjoy guiding my patients through their journey to achieving health and wellbeing with up to date research, traditional wisdoms and motivating support.
My patients feel inspired and empowered to regain control of their health with delicious, healthy and healing food. This does not mean bland tasteless 'healthfood' or expensive superfoods but rather, readily available seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables. In addition to food as medicine strategies and dietary and lifestyle counselling, I also utilise herbal medicine for supporting and restoring function in chronic pathology, and recommend nutritional supplements and flower essences where necessary.
I have a special interest in supporting common family ailments of the nervous and gastrointestinal systems: in particular digestive issues, and stress-related conditions, mood and fatigue disorders, as well as general wellness promotion. For further information check out the FAQ's page
