Happy Winter Solstice! On this longest and darkest night of the year I will be heading down to the local primary school for a delightful winter solstice lantern parade and very safe , small and somewhat freezing bonfire. It occurred to me today that if I had thought of it earlier, I could be sipping on a delicious herbal spiced brandy elixir. Now that I have thought of it, I will definitely need to make some soon.
